A Rainy Sunday

We awoke to thunder and hail this morning as storms passed eastward through central Indiana. After Raul Matthew and I attended the morning service at FBC Carmel, we came back to the Ronald McDonald House where I cooked lunch and waited for the cookies to finish in the oven. This was intended as a surprise to brighten Melissa's day. On another note, there was evidence that O.J. Simpson had been in the kitchen the night before.

Myla smiled a lot this afternoon. This evening, though, she is in a lot of pain with the diaper rash the chemo has caused. Mary also gave her eye drops, which is needed for chemo babies. Mary did a good job, but we can bearly stand some of the other staff members.

Here's a picture of the ubiquitous red wagons here at Riley.

Melissa and I watched a 28-minute instructional video by Marian Fosdal about blood counts. Some of the key terms were ANC, neutropenia, and thrombocytopenia.
