First, the funny moment of the day. Here is a notice attached to a defective chair bed in the hospital. The form asked the person completing it to "check the box(es) that appropriately describes this device's symptoms, and provide the requested detail." That's right--even furniture can have "symptoms" in a hospital. But that's not the funny part. Someone marked the "Involved in Incident" box and then gave this explanation, and here comes the funny part: "Parent fell through end of chair bed." It's kind of like, "Dude, sorry about your car, but... that...was...AWESOME!!!"
Raul Matthew and I returned to the Children's Museum where he played with boats and saw the new Ryan White display.
A highlight of the day was the arrival of the first crane--this one made by Cyndi Bricknell, a nurse and former student of mine at Indiana University Kokomo!
