The tide goes out...

This weekend has been quiet.

We needed that.

Despite the slower pace, I was able to spend time developing strategery for managing the days ahead.

Take the cats, for instance.

If I dump 10 bags of cat litter in the back bathtub, then those digesters on paws should be all set. I'll just keep a rake in the bathroom for my periodic visits.

And as far as food, we have a bin of cat chow that must weigh 80 pounds. I'll just remove the lid so the cats can hop in and eat their way to the bottom. I'd tell them to stay out of China, but they'd just give me that blank look. They always do.

Then, all that's standing between me and "Mission Accomplished" is to fill the front bathtub with water.

Genius. Pure genius.

Can't wait to share this idea with Melissa. :)
