It's nearly 11 AM and Raul Matthew is still catching up on some much-needed sleep. Meanwhile, I've been able to use the quiet of the morning to catch up on finalizing the assessment report for our communication arts degree.
Melissa just called from the hospital room to give me the latest numbers on Myla. Her ANC continues to fall--it's now 275. Her hemoglobin has also fallen from 10.2 on Monday to 9.2 yesterday to 8.2 this morning, so she'll likely get a blood transfusion before too long. Myla is also running a slight fever at 99.2, so that's something to keep a close eye on because it could indicate an infection. That wouldn't be welcome news because her weakened system would struggle to fight it off.
More later...

Raul, we had no idea that you had a blog. I just happened to do a search for you. We were wondering how Myla was. We pray for her every day and especially that God would not allow her to suffer in any way. I thank Him for that.
Myla is such a precious little girl. We will continue to pray for her and all of you.
If you do not mind, I would like to link to your blog so people can see Myla and pray. Some of my family in Ohio, Washington and Virginia remember Missi and would be interested in praying for her little girl.
That sounds great! Thanks so much!
