Myla is having some kind of reaction to something (the chemo?). Melissa described the swelling in Myla's lower extremities as "cartoon foot." The medical staff doesn't seem to know what is causing the swelling, but they are keeping an eye on it as we continue to draw attention to it.
I spent most of the day in Kokomo yesterday getting some things done on the home front, and since Raul Matthew stayed at the hospital yesterday, I decided to take RM on the road today. We started by taking some pictures around downtown Indianapolis, then went to the conservatory at Garfield Park, and capped it off with attending the Christmas at the Indianapolis Zoo, compliments of Fred Hakes. Thanks, Fred!

Just a quick note of support from someone who has been where you are. It is very hard, your little girl is beautiful and I am so glad to see that you have so much support. Our little one was diagnosed at 10 weeks old, and now sits in front of me arguing with her sister at 2 1/2 years old, and 2 years past BMT. Miracles happen every day. Prayers for Myla's Miracle!
The one thing I needed that was not available when we were going through treatment was the knowledge of others who have walked or are walking the same path, and I believe you already know about the Infant Leukemia group we created to help bridge this gap. We are here for you.
