Great news--one of the doctors told Melissa that Riley Hospital might send us home by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week! This will just depend on how quickly Myla's numbers increase. The medical staff continues to be amazed at how well she is handling her chemo treatments, and that's why they seem inclined to release her a bit early.
This means that we'll be home for about a week before turning around and coming back for her second of the five rounds of chemo treatments. Unfortunately, because of Myla's low immune system, we'll have to limit visitations during our time home and treat our apartment as if it were a hospital room. If you can't help yourself and JUST have to see Myla, then give us a call and we'll see how things are going. :) I want Melissa to get as much rest as possible during our few days at home, and we'll try to live a "normal life" for Raul Matthew's sake as well.
Meanwhile, Crib McD flooded the house with glut of Christmas decorations this morning. Pictures to come.
