Melissa is putting the final touches on this home trip by napping with Myla on the couch. Meanwhile, the two cats are asleep and Raul Matthew is looking for something for something quiet to do that will keep him entertained without waking up those who slumber among us.
Sometime today, we'll get more serious about packing for the month ahead. We'll try to travel light for our trip down tomorrow, and that means my Lodge cast iron skillet stays behind. Or, maybe not.
That's all that's going on here at the moment.
I'll be back tomorrow evening sometime to give a photo-infused account of the day's activities. I'm getting used to the standard sequence of shots during our trips to Riley, including shots of the drive to Indy, us in the waiting room of the ROC (Riley Outpatient Center), Myla getting her blood pressure taken, then measured for length, then weighed, then escorted to a small room where she'll get her blood drawn, then a shot of us waiting in the room, then the arrival of the IV pole, etc..
All of that, and MUCH more, in tomorrow's blog.
